A Slitting Line is a metal manufacturing process,is used to break master coils down into smaller coils of a specific width and or weight.

Steel slitting line is a steel manufacturing process wherein steel coils are slit into lengths and widths specified by the final application. This process requires machinery lines equipped with a decoiler, slitter, and a recoiler to achieve the end product: slitting steel coils, or “mults”.
