Tension reel main shaft, payoff reel main shaft, the most important components of expanding and collapsing mandrels. Mandrel shaft is the important component of Tension reel(recoiler) and Payoff reel(uncoiler). Mandrel, Tension reel, Payoff reel, these are our core business.

We normally use forged materials for main shaft, manufacture based on supplied drawings, use different required materials, normally, for cold rolling mill and coil processing lines, we use forged 42CrMo4(equivalent 4140) or 40CrNiMo(equivalent 4340).

Mandrels has various structures according to different applications. Generally,one assembly mandrel components include: main shaft(arbor), segments, spreader(sleeve),wedges,pull rod, outboard bearing support, hydraulic cylinder and rotary joint unit; we not only manufacture assembly mandrels, but also manufacture mandrel’s spare parts.

All expanding and collapsed mandrels we manufactured work for steel and other non-ferrous cold rolling mill and hot rolling mill and coil processing lines, such as pickling line, galvanizing line, color coating line, annealing line, cut to length line, slitting line, rewinding line, tension leveling line,etc.
